Harry Reid is a monumental hypocrite. He claimed Republicans were corrupt yet he is involved in shady land deals in Arizona, he backed funding for a bridge between Arizona and Nevada that affects the property value of land he owns, he was involved in the Abramoff scandal all while criticizing Republicans for it and he refused to return Abramoff connected donations, he used campaign funds to pay out bonuses to caretakers of one of his condo’s, he profited off a sale of land her did not even own in Nevada, he broke campaign finance laws by having money illegally funneled to him by a Las Vegas developer, his spokesman then told the media “The senator believes that campaign finance laws should be followed to the highest letter of the law”.

This week he chastised Republicans for stalling a benefit package then turned around and stalled voting because Senators Clinton and Obama were not present.

After days of castigating Republicans for allegedly stalling a veterans benefits package, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) himself decided to postpone the start of the debate — and, indeed the start of Wednesday’s session — until 5 p.m. in order to accommodate the schedules of his party’s presidential hopefuls, Democratic sources said.
